Photo Competition
In tragedy comes hope for sick patients waiting to receive valuable organs being donated in order to save their lives.
Be creative in your approach to the pictures submitted.
We aim to create awareness about organ donation and organ transplant. Selfless acts and stories about helping others and saving lives are also central themes. You are not limited to organ donation or organ transplant when communicating any of these themes. It is the value of saving lives and selflessness which should be represented and considered as central messages.
Entrants are invited to submit photographic works (accompanied by an entry form).
Please enclose a maximum of 10 X digital files in Jpeg format (72 dpi, 2000 pixels on the widest side). The images to be exhibited in the proposed exhibition will be on screen/in digital format.
Photos will be shown at the Waterfront Ampitheatre on 24 September 2011 and also at the European Transplant day on 29 October 2011.
Entries can be emailed or couriered to Melissa Van Harte, Department of Surgery, Old Main Building, Groote Schuur Hospital, Main Road, Observatory, Cape Town 7925 South Africa; Enquiries via email: melissa.vanharte@uct.ac.za
